Hailed as the most romantic of all classical ballets, Peter Wright's production of Giselle tells the tragic tale of a young peasant girl who falls for the dashing count Albrecht who has led her to believe that he is a villager. Upon finding out his true identity and that he is engaged to someone else, Giselle dies of a broken heart and returns to haunt him beyond the grave.
